Two local businesses team up to offer savory and sweet options this Thanksgiving

Two local businesses have joined forces to offer a delicious Thanksgiving this year.

Three Twigs & Co. and Bloom Hospitality & Catering will offer pies and sides to purchase before Thursday, November 23.

For the first time, Three Twigs & Co. will not require pre-orders for pies. Instead, customers can purchase pies in person at the restaurant on the corner of Iles and Chatham Rd in Springfield.

In addition to its much sought-after pies, Three Twigs & Co. will offer sugar cookies, gluten-free and vegan options, rolls, take and bakes, cinnamon rolls, and scones. This year’s pie offering includes pumpkin, bourbon pecan chocolate, Dutch apple cranberry, latticed cherry, peanut butter chocolate, purple sweet potato toffee, pumpkin caramel pecan cream, brown sugar maple, cookie butter cream pie, and death by chocolate. Three Twigs & Co. is open Tuesdays to Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pies will be available for pick up from Friday, November 17, from 8 a.m. Three Twigs & Co. will be closed on Thursday, November 23, and reopen on Friday, November 24.

Bloom Hospitality & Catering will offer pre-orders for bacon-wrapped dates, cranberry brie pastry puffs, holiday sliders, pork loin crostini, mini smoked turkey pot pies, sweet potato bites, white chicken chili, butternut squash bisque, fall salad, homestyle mac n cheese, garlic rosemary whipped potatoes, house cornbread, homestyle green beans, collard greens, and baked sweet potato casserole. Minimums are on a case-by-case basis. For Thanksgiving, orders must be made by Wednesday, November 22. Please give 48-hour notice for all orders. Pick up only.

You can pre-order your Bloom sides at bloomcaters.com.

“We have worked with Emily on several occasions, and so it made sense to offer Thanksgiving sides while Three Twigs & Co. offers pies and desserts, with pick-up at the same location and time,” said Bloom owner Gabi Thompson.

The two businesses will also participate in the MERCY Communities toy drive organized by Scooter’s Lawn Care. “If you want to donate toys to MERCY Communities, a nonprofit addressing family homelessness, please deliver your items at Three Twigs & Co. Tuesday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., before the end of November. We love to support our community and know that many of our family, friends, and customers do too,” said Emily Lewis, Three Twigs & Co. owner.
