Knob Hill Landscape Company, a nationally recognized leader in landscaping and outdoor living, has announced the development of its new headquarters, Knob Hill True-North, located at 1580 Jeffries Road, Springfield, IL 62707. The expanded facility will centralize operations, staff, and day-to-day functions, reflecting the company’s continued growth and service expansion.
Founded in 2011, Knob Hill has built a reputation for award-winning landscape design and comprehensive maintenance services. In 2025, the company opened Knob Hill West, a turn-key outdoor living showroom that highlights its craftsmanship and design expertise. With services extending to lawn care, hardscaping, and customized outdoor solutions, the company recognized the need for a larger, more versatile operational hub.
“By expanding our services this year, we needed a place to stretch our legs. We had the opportunity to acquire this property,” said Landon Kirby, co-owner of Knob Hill Landscape Company. “This new location will allow us to add several different options to our services. It’s going to allow us more storage…we’ll even have a couple of greenhouses to grow our own material.”
True-North will consolidate Knob Hill’s operations into a single primary location, featuring expanded capacity for its all-inclusive maintenance programs, onsite storage for plant materials, trees, natural stone, and hardscape inventory, as well as greenhouses for company-grown plants. The facility also provides increased space for equipment, materials, and team operations, offering staff new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
As part of the transition, Knob Hill will relocate all personnel to True-North and sell its Camp Sangamo site this summer. Knob Hill West will continue as a dedicated showroom, allowing clients to experience the company’s signature design quality firsthand.
With True-North, Knob Hill Landscape Company marks a pivotal next chapter—strengthening its operational foundation, supporting service expansion, and creating space for innovation and growth.
