Kansara Kollection is a Pokémon trading card and collectibles shop in Carol Stream, Illinois, run by brothers Dhruv and Karan Kansara. They’re among Illinois Local’s newest members, so we asked them our six questions.

What inspired you to launch your business?

Two brothers, one passion. We wanted to bring our love for collecting Pokémon to the community.

What is your passion?

Growing our business and ourselves with the community.

How do you start your day?

We start it with a quick workout and some fresh matcha (occasionally we rip packs… but the occasion comes often).

Favorite local businesses?

Kansara Kollection, of course.

What do you deem as success in business?

When you can build a community that supports and follows you during the rough patches in a business lifeline.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

It is never too late or too early. Just get on and believe in yourself.

Celebrate Kansara Kollection’s One-Year Anniversary

Kansara Kollection is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Saturday, October 17, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a community event featuring custom Pokémon cards. The shop is located at 1420 W. Army Trail Rd., Carol Stream, IL.
