Britney Murphey-Revitalize Nutrition
What inspired you to launch your business?
Tim and I had always talked about owning our own business one day, but we didn’t know what path to take. We co-parent very well. Our motivator was showing our son Cooper if an opportunity presents itself, anything is possible if you follow your gut and go for what you want.
What is your passion?
Our passion is helping others. I don’t know if you would call that a passion, but it’s something both of us can’t help. No matter how big or small, we are there for anyone that needs that little extra pick-me-up.
How do you start your day?
I feel like I’m always in a rush! Carpooling my kiddos to school and then off to Revitalize Nutrition to start my day with my favorite Reese’s shake! (And trust me, it tastes delicious!)
Favorite local businesses?
Penelope Boutique, in Decatur, is one of my favorite shops. Their style caters to every woman’s style and size. I love their inclusivity of fashion for women of all ages too! And The Rooted Home in Farmersville! I drool every time I walk in there. I used a lot of Cassie's pieces to design our store!
What do you deem as success in business?
I look forward to going in to work every day. My dad always told me, “do something you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” He wasn’t wrong.
What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?
Other small businesses around you are not your competition. We all have the same goal and passions. Support one another and share all the good vibes and love you can!
