Elizabeth Bailey -Studio Bliss Photography

What inspired you to launch your business?

When I first picked up a camera, I knew it would always be a part of who I was and how I communicated with the world. I eventually launched the business side when I transitioned to portraiture.

What is your passion?

Empowering people of all ages to embrace their stories and see themselves beautifully photographed. I want to put legacy prints in the hands of my clients placed on their walls as a symbol of belonging because they are worthy now. Creating lasting connections and fostering relationships with those I create work for is essential to running my business. Providing service with an abundance of gratitude and joy throughout the entire process drives my work.

How do you start your day?

I currently teach Art to 500 kids a week on top of owning Studio Bliss Photography. My day starts with hydration, deep breathing, getting four kids ready for school, and then on to bus duty.

Favorite local businesses?

Willow and Birch, Cocoa Blue, Azteca, Cafe Moxo, Springfield Art Collective, The Pharmacy.

What do you deem as success in business?

I feel successful in business when my clients are over-joyed with what I have created with them and when they happily refer me to their friends and family.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

Work on your self-value first, then create always from a place of service and joy. Your business will not survive or thrive if you do not value your time, purpose, product, or income.
