The Storyteller Studios scoops ten national awards

The Storyteller Studios has received five gold and one bronze Telly award and four Communicator Awards for Excellence.

The Springfield, Illinois, video production company gained gold Telly Awards for "Stories of Freedom at the Old State Capitol" in the history and videography/cinematography categories and a bronze in the travel and tourism category. The same work received two Communicator Awards for cinematography and history/biography. "Gifted: The Docuseries" [Trailer] received two further gold Telly Awards in the cause marketing and editing categories and two Communicator Awards for editing and documentary. Finally, Join Holland (Holland Construction Recruitment Video) was awarded a gold Telly.

Principal and executive producer Josh Hester said, “this is impressive and I’m so proud of our team. Although located in Springfield, Illinois, and providing award-winning video production to businesses and causes in the state capital for almost a decade, The Storyteller Studios works with clients across the US. One is Robert Horsey and his team at Gifted Productions in Indianapolis, Indiana.

State Historic Sites Springfield, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, worked with The Storyteller Studios team on Stories of Freedom at the Old State Capitol, now screening for visitors to the site. “Congratulations to The Storyteller Studios for earning Telly awards for their work on the Old State Capitol guest experience film ‘Stories of Freedom,” said IDNR director Colleen Callahan. “This is a compelling and educational film that communicates the significance of one of Illinois’ most significant and recognizable historic sites.”
