Sangamon Reclaimed is expanding again with the appointment of three new craftsmen

Sangamon Reclaimed has appointed Stacy Whittington as craftsman, Tyler Steinkopf as Craftsman and Hardwoods Specialist, and Andy Hoff as Office Manager and Craftsman.

Stacy, 42, has been woodworking for a decade, building heirloom quality furniture.

Andy, 34, was previously in the hospitality industry and a band for ten years. He has been woodworking for six years as a hobby.

Tyler, 30, manages Sangamon Reclaimed’s lumber yards and is currently stocking the new charcuterie board collection. He has 15 years of experience in landscaping and agriculture, three years as a youth care specialist, and is in his second year as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Tyler has been honing his woodwork skills as a hobbyist until now.

“We are so excited to add Stacy, Tyler, and Andy to our growing team of craftsmen. As our business continues to expand to meet the demands on our retail and commercial divisions, we hope to add even more talented individuals to the Sangamon Reclaimed team,” said Co-owner, Amanda Compton.

The showroom at Sangamon Reclaimed is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays, once a month.

In addition to handcrafted heirloom-quality furniture, Sangamon Reclaimed is Springfield’s number one source for charcuterie boards, live edge shelving, and reclaimed barn wood American flags.

Follow Sangamon Reclaimed on Facebook and Instagram for updates and events, such as the ever-so-popular charcuterie board and live edge shelving DIY nights every quarter.
