Cori Johns -Rose Aesthetic & Wellness Clinic

What inspired you to launch your business?

As a nurse practitioner working for someone else, I was told how to practice medicine and limited the time with my patients. I felt like I was putting out fire after fire managing illness. I wanted to shift my focus to helping people get healthy and stay healthy by incorporating mind, body, and spirit. My goal became to help people become the best version of themselves, and the dream of Rose Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic was born.

What is your passion?

My passion is helping others achieve their full potential by letting go of their limiting beliefs. When a person feels good about themselves, they can achieve so much more. Whether losing weight or improving their appearance, it starts by feeling good in their skin.

How do you start your day?

I take a few minutes every morning to thank God for allowing me to live out my dream. Followed by my unsweetened cold brew Starbucks with Premier Protein mixed in.

Favorite local businesses?

I’m a fan of supporting other local businesses. I have many favorites. Sappy’s Tree Trimming, Peace, Love, & Sweat is amazing, Beaver Creek Woodworks for custom-made anything, Bunn Gourmet, and, of course, my own Rose Aesthetics.

What do you deem as success in business?

Success is being able to do what I love to do for a living. Also, finding a nurse (Jen) with the same passion for helping others.

What is your number one piece of advice for business owners?

Just start. If you have an idea, go with it, and don’t get hung up on all the tiny details. Get the basics and go. You will find what works and doesn’t and adjust as you go.
