We were looking for a way to network with other local businesses- and after some social media search we came upon the Illinois Local Instagram page, read about the organization’s mission and goal is, and decided it was just what we were looking for and hoping to be involved with. 

We were drawn to join after learning that the main focus of the group is to help businesses grow and connect. No matter the type of business, all we’re experiencing a similar struggle during covid 19, and just as small businesses in general. And the idea of having the opportunity to network with others in a similar position was invaluable to us. 

Our experience has been great! From the resources, to the people- we have been able to learn and grow over the past 10 months more than we could have hoped for.

We have benefited greatly from the social media presence. As a new business- and one based solely online- it has been such a huge help not only having the Illinois Local page share our content, but also having the support and encouragement of other members’ social media pages as well.
